THE VIBRATION ROTATION SPECTRUM OF $C_{2}T_{2}$

Abstract

Acetylene-$t_{2}$ has been prepared for the first time and the $\nu_{3}$ and $\nu_{4}+\nu_{5}$ bands of $^{12}C_{2}^{3}H_{2}$ have been observed and measured employing a high resolution vacuum infrared spectrograph. Molecular constants obtained from the analysis of the data will be presented, and other features of the spectrum will be discussed.
