Abstract
The High Information Fourier Spectrometer built at Lab. Aim\’{e} Cotton is now able to record spectra in the Indium Antimonide region. Thus it covers now the spectral range (PbS + InSb) extending from 1$\mu$ to 6$\mu$. In order to obtain an instrumental function narrower than the Doppler width in all the domain of Interest the maximum path difference has been increased by a factor of 2 ($\Delta_{M} = 4m$), One can then analyze spectra with an instrumental profile the halfwidth of which is, unapodized, $1.25 \times 10^{-3} cm^{-1}$. A brief description of the modified apparatus and an illustration of its new possibilities will be give.
