Abstract
The infrared emission spectrum of $^{14}N_{2}$ $^{16}O$ at 4.5 microns from the d.c. excited $N_{2}O$-$N_{2}$-He plasma in a multiple-reflection source has been measured with a high-resolution grating spectrometer. The spectrum includes the following sequences: 00v-00(v-1), 01$^{1}$v$-01^{1}$(v-1), and 02$^{2}$v$-02^{2}$(v-1) as well as other vibration-rotation bands. Combining these data with all other accurate vibrational and rotational data in the electronic ground state of $N_{2}O$, a set of spectroscopic constants has been determined.
