Abstract
In many instances the low temperature spectra of organic molecules in ``glass like” environments are broadened primarily by inhomogeneous phenomena. Such broad lines consist of a continuum of sharp line spectra. In these instances, optical excitation by Personov’s method (sharp line excitation on the red edge of absorption) often produce quasiline (sharp line) $spectra.^{1}$
