Abstract

The third-order diagrammatic theory of saturated absorption line shapes is used to calculate the relative intensities in hyperfine multiplets for small molecules. Various combinations for the polarizations of the saturation and probe beams are considered. Closed forms formulae will be given, and their application to $NH_{3}$ and $CH_{4}$ will be discussed.
