THE VIBRATIONAL SPECTRA OF $DIMETHYLAMINODIBORANE^{\ast}$

Abstract

The infrared and Raman spectra of dimethylaminodiborane, $(CH_{3}){2}NB{2}H_{5}$, and its deuterated relative, $(CH_{3}){2}NB{2}D_{5}$, have been determined. A satisfactory vibrational assignment has been achieved. Depolarization data have helped to confirm the $C_{2v}$ configuration.
